Ladies First

An article about Ladies First caught my attention.  You know I'm not very particular of the Ladies First thingy in public.  But I still believe on some Ladies first acts.  Like if you're bf-gf the guy should open the door for the girl.  The guy must give way to the girl to be the first one to exit fr the elevator.  First one to go up in the stairs or escalator. Must pull the chair for his girl. Girl should be the one seated first in public transportation.  But if we're not  bf/gf or Im in a public transportation or public place I am not particulat that men should offer their seats for the girls.  It's our choice girls if we will ride in a vehicle that was already puno.  And why should we expect that the boys will give their seats for us.  haha pareparehas lang tayong bayad.  In an elevator I think it wont hurt if the guys let the ladies exit first or in restaurants or bars guys open the door if ever may nakasabay silang girls it wont hurt them if they do that and at the same time  it wont hurt me if they didn't, but I will appreciate if they did.

But gentlemen please, wait for the ladies to offer their hand for the handshake.

WANTED!! extra straps :)

THIS POST IS CERTAINLY NOT A PRODUCT REVIEW!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a certified Flip-flops lover. So comfy. And my red one will always be my favorite. We were partners for more or less 4 years, definitely my travel-mate :).

my travel-mate
But sadly, no matter how cliche it would be there's no such thing as forever except change. Last year the strap of my red flip-flop suddenly broke :( ...... I was really really sad; depressed and miserable the whole day even on the following day.  Ok a wk or even more than a wk.  I was so attached with my red flip-flop.  I almost felt that "oh no I'm having a separation anxiety" .

hulaan kung alin jan ang paa ko

Is there a store selling extra strap? haha ... It's been a yr but I'm still hoping and keeping it.  And I'm interested to know if they are selling extra strap (havaianas) now.  I have another pair with a gold strap also and yes I was willing to use its strap to replace the broken one but the former is high line and the latter is flat-slim so it wont work and so with the others.

This post is soooooooo overdue a yr overdue I just saw my red tsinelas last wkend when I pull a wrong shoe-box.

Leap Year

Ta-dah... oh yeah it's leap year .... so those Feb 29 born ..... "celebration"!!!

Couple of wks ago I received a SMS from my friend Pia ..."leap year pala ngayon pwede daw mag propose ang girls sa boys" .... my first received SMS for that day .... in which I replied ..... "At bakit sinasabi mo sa akin iyan? haha"

I'm aware that it exist.  I mean that Leap Yr thing ....  is tradition the right word?  I dunno ...

It was the movie  Leap Year  that introduced me to that thing.  See below.
Anna Brady plans to travel to Dublin, Ireland to propose to her boyfriend Jeremy on February 29, leap day, because, according to Irish tradition, a man who receives a marriage proposal on a leap day must accept it.
I needed to hit the rewind button from time to time because I fall asleep for countless times haha.  Not my movie I guess.

And yesterday I encountered about this twice.

But is there really a tradition like this in some part of the world?  Does it really exist or atleast existed?  Was it acceptable then?  Someone tried?  Gonna google it ... haha

Care to ask me if  will I ever do this thing? ... nah ... why wait for Feb. 29 when you can do this any day of any year ... haha ... of course now I'm joking ... **sinaunang tao pa din ako sa isip sa salita at sa gawa** haha ... so gehls (girls) wanna ride on this thing? u still have 22 hours left to think about it .. tee hee .. gluck :)
